The Pokemon Company has teamed with Fathom Events to bring the movie to theaters on Nov. 5 and Nov. 6. I Choose You! will play rpg pokemon just once on each day: at 12:55 p.m. local time on Nov. 5 and 7 p.m. on Nov. 6. Tickets are now available for pre-purchase online and at select theaters.

The Pokemon Company dropped the first full-length trailer for Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You!, the upcoming anniversary film that throws it back to the anime’s early days. Since the film’s Japanese premiere in July, we’ve already gotten hints that I Choose You! isn’t the straight retelling of Ash Ketchum’s origin story as we originally thought, but this new trailer makes that painfully clear.

It’s ... ridiculous, obviously. But hopefully it will redeem Popplio, the much-maligned starter who looks super cute in the mode’s debut footage. The whole thing reminds us of an expanded version of Pokemon X and Y’s Trainer PR mode, play pokemon online, which let players take self-portraits and even construct some truly weird videos.

Ash has been living in the Alola region this season, hanging out with Pikachu and making some new, goofy friends. But you never forget your first travel companions, and so Brock and Misty remain beloved. When this summer’s Pokemon movie — a reimagining of the first season — ditched the pair in favor of some unfamiliar faces, old-school fans were rightfully upset.

We know very little about how PvP battles and trading will look in Pokemon Mega, though, so it may be unfair to speculate. But with the game already steadfast about focusing on the real-world experience — consider that certain Pokemon are locked to specific regions, and legendary monsters available only for a limited time — adding features that ignore this primary facet seems a bit counterproductive.

Instantfuns will send out invites to Pokemon players in “select areas” who have successfully participated in a Raid Battle to try out the new system. Those who are asked to help field test the system will receive a special EX Raid Pass, which will grant them access to the new feature. They’ll also have a chance to provide feedback to the developer.
